Once there was a man who lived on the side of the street and he had an alcohol addiction, like most people who live on the side of the street and one day a man came up to him and looked at his little jar that said ‘please help feed me’ and he asked “how do I know you’re not just gonna use any money I give you for alcohol?” and the man looked up at him and asked “well what were you gonna use it for?” and the man stopped and started to think and he was pretty sure the answer was alcohol. So, he gave the man five dollars and went on his way and then later a woman looked at the sign that said ‘will you please help feed me’ and she asked him well how do “I know you’re gonna buy food?” and he said “Well, you can come into the store and buy it with me” and so she and him went into the store and he picked out some food and she went on her way and then one day when the man was older and could help himself he found another homeless person and put money into his cup that said ‘please help feed me’ and the boy looked up at him and asked “how do you know I’m not gonna use it for drugs?” and the older man looked at him and said, “well what do you think I was gonna use it for?”
